Past Projects: Sweater Sets

Sweater, Hat, Booties

I love seeing these projects come together and how cute they can be! I've done many of these over the years, but don't have photos of most of them, but, if anyone that I've given these to would like to send me a photo of same, I'd love to have them.

Past Projects: Hats

Children's Ear Flap Hats

These are hats I've really enjoyed making and especially enjoy taking the basic hat and create different patterns - many of which I've also done booties and sometimes sweaters to match.  Everyone I've ever shown or given one as a gift always loves them.  That's always so rewarding!
Part of a sweater & bootie set given to Simon

Have done several variations using these colors

This one tended to curl in the front too much

Loved this one

Aspen Color

Some of the zillion photos I took on our drive leaving Aspen over Independence Pass on September 19, 2010. What an incredible trip! So much fun - will post more photos later.  Just wanted to post this as it makes me feel good to see it!

Current Projects

My first BLOG!!! I'm excited as I wanted a way to keep track of all my knitting projects and those of my fellow knitters (whoever they may be).  I don't know much about this blogging business - but here goes!!!
I think this is it - I like it!

My current projects are: Daffodil Stitch Tea Cozy from 1929

Tea Cosy for Mom's friend Cora's birthday. Need to mail to her in next week.
Finishing up the top (several "leaves" attached to top of cozy).  Not really happy with anything yet, have tried several different types of "leaves". Still working....

Project:  Christmas Bootie Container
Making these to take to Assisted Living residents at Christmas. The base container is a large coffee can and then I fill it with candies.  Very easy and something EVERYONE likes. I'm making some in Green as well as Red - may even do some in white - depends on time.

Project:  Crocheted Amigurumi Animals - these are sooooo much fun and pretty quick to finish. Always finding new designs online!
